This is such a versatile pie! You can add cherries or blueberries on top and make it a fruit cream pie. And it's no bake, which makes it easy to put together!
8 oz. cream cheese
8 oz. sour cream
1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 - 1/2 c. fresh key lime juice (regular limes are very delicious, too)
8 oz. whipped topping
1 graham cracker crust
NOTE: If you aren't a fan of the key lime flavor... just leave it out. How easy is that?
Beat together cream cheese and sour cream. Add sugar, vanilla and lime juice. Mix well. Fold in whipped topping. Pour in graham cracker crust. Refrigerate until chilled. Grate lime zest over pie just before serving.
I love food! I love sweet pepper sauce and I've always had a love affair with D'anjou Pears. Hence the Blog name. But it could have just as easily been something to do with my other favorite ingredients, like coconut, almonds, nutmeg, sugar peas, mangoes, chocolate, cilantro, tomatoes, olives, pasta... well the list goes on and on.
Poetry
If ever there was a poetic fruit, pears are it. Possibly pomegranates, strawberries, peaches, grapes, and certainly mangoes. Well, there goes the plug for my poetic pear.
